Domestic Violence Awareness MonthOctober has been named Domestic Violence Awareness month by the Obama administration. We know that nearly 1 in 4 women and 1 in 7 men have suffered from domestic violence by an intimate partner. We need to be aware as both individuals and a community to the signs of domestic violence. In a lot of cases intervention can be the key to prevention.
